Description
A solitary tuft of a yucca plant emerges from the peak of a pristine white sand dune under a clear blue sky. The simplicity of the scene evokes a sense of isolation and the contrast between nature and the endless sand creates a minimalist aesthetic.
This is White Sands National Park, an American park in the State of New Mexico covering 145,762 acres in the Tularosa Basin including 275 sq. mi. of white sand dunes composed of gypsum crystals. This gypsum dunefield is the largest of its kind on Earth.
